As a DJ, I have to be the life of the party. You put a microphone in my hand and turn on the PA system and I will get your party jumping faster than you can say ‘James Brown.’ But it’s not all fun and games, a lot of times there’s lighting and effects too, and that can be tricky so I do my best to have my own setup.

The grille lights react to the sounds you play, and it’s really amazing how it gets the room moving and helps me set the mood for every party I cover.

When I purchased it, I bought it for the lights. It hadn’t dawned on me that thing had wireless capabilities, and I had never set up anything like that before. I thought I was going to have to call a specialist, but the guys at B&H Photo’s live chat not only helped me set up the Bluetooth connections, they also helped me optimize me or a guest could stream music from an iPhone or iPad.

That’s saved me a lot of time because if anyone has a personal mix or a special request saved on their device, it’s really easy to play it without disrupting the fun. It’s really made a difference with the customers because they like dancing in the colors a lot more than just the overhead lights. There’s more of an ambient, magical effect.
